Why Write It When You Can Say It Better With Words?
I got engaged last November. I had been dating my boyfriend for 5 years, and It was our 5 year anniversary.
I bought him a fancy acoustic guitar, which I knew he would love. When he picked me up at my place, I was holding that huge present. He loved it and started playing it in the car! Then, he gave me my gift, a new iPod nano, in pink! I wanted that sooo badly, and was really happy with it.
Then, he took me to an amazing restaurant, that I always wanted to go to, but it is a really expensive one! So we got there, and it was a beautiful night, the place was so nice, and I was really emotional, because I was really happy. But when he gave me my present, i complained about not getting a card with it. I always say he has to write a card. And then he told me that the reason why he didn’t write it, was because this time he wanted to say it to me, not write it.
So he started telling me how he realized that making me happy was the most important thing in his life, and that he can’t see himself living without me. He grabbed a small box in his pocket, and said, so, because of all that, I wanted to ask you to marry me.
I cried so hard!! I was so happy!
