Airplane Engagement

One of my favorite engagement stories involves a man who had to fly to visit his girlfriend. She was waiting to pick him up at the airport. While on the plane, he got the flight attendants to ask everyone on the plane if they would help him with his engagement plan…each passenger was given a rose and as they got off the plane, they handed their rose to his girlfriend.

He was the last one off the plane, so by the time he got off, she was standing there with a GIGANTIC bouquet of roses…be brought his own rose, then got down on his knee, pulled out the ring (before the crowd of people who were all VERY excited for him) and asked her to marry him. She said yes!

Kissing Spot Engagement

Engagements can be very exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. You’re excited about popping the question but nervous because you want everything perfect for this special moment and not sure if it will be. Stuck on an idea…here’s something to try for that special proposal:

My wife and I had been dating for about 5 years and we had picked a ring out to get engaged. I bought this beautiful ring and was waiting for the right time to give it to her…what I had planned was to give it to her at the place which we had first kissed which was along this particular road and the spot was a 45 minute drive.

The whole trip up to this spot I was nervous and my stomach reacted to my nerves and I started felling sick to my stomach. Finally, we got to the spot and stopped…not knowing why we stopped my wife kept asking questions. I couldn’t take it and told her I was sick so I ran off into the woods– in the hustle I dropped the ring and panicked and started looking in the weeds frantically for the ring.

By this time, my wife had gotten out of the car and found the ring right next to the driver side door…as I looked up I saw my beautiful bride to be soaked holding the ring and crying and I got on my knees and told her that she was my best friend and I couldn’t wait to start my life with her and asked if she would marry me…she said “Yes!”
