A Helicopter Marriage Proposal
I heard this story on the radio about a man who wanted to propose to his wife. He talked her into believing that a helicopter would take her to the heliopad on the top of Macy’s where she would be dropped off to get a spa treatment. They went in the helicopter and flew around the city looking at all the sights. It was obviously very romantic.
She looked out the window and there was a big sign on the roof that said “Marry Me.” She was very thrilled and she turned to look at her groom to be and he gave her a ring. She said yes.
Then they flew to her parents house where they were waiting. Her parents had obviously knew about the surprise. I thought it was a pretty neat idea if you have access to a buddy with a helicopter or some kind of connections and your girlfriend is extremely gullible.
Later that night at dinner she told him that she had something for him. She was actually going to propose to him and gave him a ring, so the timing was pretty good.
Another similar idea if you are not in the city is to mow grass or wheat on a farm and then go up in an old fashioned airplane. You’ll look out the window and see the beautiful views and your girlfriend will see “will you marry me” shaved out in the grass or wheat or whatever you choose.
The same idea could be planned out for para sailing, with a sign on the deck of a boat. Good luck!
