Hidden Treasure…
For those who are in to the water sports, especially diving, I’d suggest doing a proposal while scuba diving or snorkeling.
Having pre-planned the diving adventure, you would go to a thrift shop, or simply make something yourself, to place the ring in…personal suggestions are either (a) an oyster with the engagement ring inside or (b) a rustic wood treasure chest with the ring inside. After placing the object on the sea/lake floor, go for a spontaneous diving trip and happen to “stumble upon” the treasure chest or oyster. It’s sure to be a lasting proposal (speaking from experience).
