How Cardinal Fans Propose Marriage
A friend of mine is a huge Cardinals baseball fan. This was the first thing her husband and her had in common. One of their first dates was even to a game. So it was only fitting that he used that love for the Cardinals in how he propose.
When the new stadium was being built, people were given the option to buy bricks for the stadium and had them engraved. His brick at the ballpark said marry me Jen. He also got the same brick made to have at home.
The first time they went to the new stadium they were looking at all the different things people had engraved. He didn’t say anything… he waited till she found it. At first she thought it was cool that it had her name on it.
She had no clue that it was for her until she turned around and Matt was on one knee with a ring. And as they say, the rest is history. Their first child will be here in six months. Hopefully the little bundle of joy will like the Cardinals just as much, it would be a shame if he turned out to be a Cub fan.
